At Cahill Works, we are dedicated naturalists and minimalists who prioritize the use of reasonable techniques and building materials. Our commitment to quality is evident in our tiny houses, which feature organic linseed oil finishes on exposed wood surfaces and Swedish pine tar coatings where appropriate. We are also unwavering in our avoidance of volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) and known toxins, always meticulously reading labels. While some situations may necessitate the use of certain chemicals, rest assured that we maintain a meticulous record of what, how, and why any unnatural chemicals are present in our tiny houses. We Don’t Build Lofts

We prioritize usability and comfort in every aspect of our projects. Recognizing that hot air rises and the lack of sufficient ventilation can result in stuffy and uncomfortable environments, we have made a conscious decision not to include lofts in our designs. This consideration is particularly relevant for individuals with special mobility needs, the elderly, and those with young children, for whom lofts may pose additional challenges. By adhering to our ideals, we ensure that our spaces are optimized for the utmost convenience and well-being of our clients.

What You Can Expect

All Cahill Works Tiny Houses come equipped with a 12,000 BTU Mini-Split for optimal temperature control and comfort. These efficient heating and air conditioning units are specifically designed for tiny houses, occupying minimal indoor space and consuming minimal power. Additionally, each unit is conveniently operated with a remote control. Our imported Japanese water heater further ensures safety and reliability, as we intentionally select units from reputable companies. Installed on the exterior of the tiny house, this LP unit maximizes safety precautions. The inclusion of black accents and accessories adds a touch of aesthetic appeal, with options available for different finishes. Moreover, our tiny houses feature natural wood walls, floors, and ceilings, treated with organic linseed oil and all-natural Swedish pine tar finishes when suitable.
